Cranial nerve supply

There are twelve pair of cranial nerves and they are referred to by either Roman numeral or named for function.  Below are links for each to describe signs and symptoms of lesions and illustrated manual tests.

Cranial nerve I - the Olfactory nerve

Cranial nerve II - the Optic nerve

Cranial nerves III, IV, and VI - the Oculomotor, Trochlear, and Abducens nerves

Cranial nerve V - the Trigeminal nerve

Cranial nerve VII - the Facial nerve

Cranial nerve VIII - the Acoustic nerve

Cranial nerve IX - the Glossopharyngeal nerve

Cranial nerve X - the Vagus nerve

Cranial nerve XI - the Spinal Access nerve

Cranial nerve XII - the Hypoglossal nerve
