The Buccinator is a facial muscle.
Anatomical Attachments: Action: This muscle of mastication pulls the corner of the mouth laterally, compresses the cheek, and holds food between the teeth during eating.
Nerve Supply: Deep buccal branches of the Facial nerve (Cranial nerve VII).
Vascular supply: Buccal branch of the maxillary artery and facial artery.
