Individual Position: The individual is seated with their legs off the table, and the leg being tested is slightly extended.

Practitioner Position: The practitioner is seated with their finger placed on the dorsal surface of the individual’s great toe.

Description of Muscle Test: The individual is requested to extend their great toe against the practitioner’s resistance.
