The Sternohyoid is an anterior muscle of the neck.
Anatomical Attachments: Action: Depresses the larynx and the hyoid bone, in addition to stabilization of the hyoid bone.
Nerve Supply: C1, C2, C3 via Ansa Cervicalis. Vascular supply: Sternocleidomastoid and hyoid branches of the superior thyroid and the hyoid branch of the lingual artery.
