Muscle Test for Infraspinatus

Pointer Plus The Pointer Plus is an easy to use trigger point (TP) locator which incorporates a push button stimulation feature to immediately treat Trigger point pain.

Individual Position: The individual is standing with their elbow flexed at their side.

Practitioner Position: The practitioner is standing to the side of the individual that is being tested, with their palm placed on the back of the individual’s hand.

Description of Muscle Test: The individual is requested to rotate their arm externally against the practitioner’s inward resistance.
