Individual Position: The individual is standing with their arm outstretched in front of them. Practitioner Position: The practitioner is standing in front of the individual with one hand securing the scapula and their other palm, applying mild to moderate resistance, placed against the palm of the individual. Description of Muscle Test: The individual is requested to push with their palm hard upward against the practitioner’s downward resistance. The inner edge of the scapula should remain against the thoracic wall.
